  • Self-guided tour of Buffalo Bill history, the Lone Star steamboat and steamboat river history, and the town of LeClaire. Contains tons of old time trinkets, copious signage to read, and the Lone Star that you can walk freely through. Walking through the boat was the best part. $5 admission for adult, $4 for senior. Annual and family passes available. Would recommend if passing through or visiting for a day trip.
  • I really enjoyed this. The town is so quaint! In the museum there are detailed notes about the artifacts which was great. Some of the donations were given by residents of the area who can trace their ancestors to the 1800s. My sister noted that she was surprised that Buffalo Bill wasn't from Buffalo lol...but, I digress. For the price you are getting a great opportunity to see an original school house an old time full sized boat and a stuffed buffalo. It's a great quick stop for you and the kids to learn some history.
