Jesters Winery & Cafe, Lebanon

We were very hungry after a morning of walking. Jesters Winery was recommended for their light lunches. On a whim we tried the Winery and were impressed with their menu. Every meal is freshly prepared with care. Every mouthful is delicious and very filling. Their meals are affordable $$, they also have their own wines and spritzers which are a must. For the beer drinker there is a small selection to choose from but are locally very popular. The hostess was a hoot, making us feel as if we had been expected. The restaurant overlooks meadows of lush green grass and cattle. I had the broccoli salad and chicken ranch flat bread while my husband enjoyed a bacon burger. They can cater for big parties, and have outside seating. We can highly recommend Jesters.

We ate at a nice clean table, outside overlooking the quiet rolling hills of quiet bourbon country in Mid October while the leaves were changing. We ordered burgers and a grazing box…. Lord… It is obvious that there is a chef present and the food and grazing box were all hand made and world class. I’m from Nashville and we’re full of good food but I promise I can’t find a “grazing box” here that can touch Jester’s. Can’t wait to visit again when we continue our Bourbon Trail tour.
