This nice museum is located at the library. Once you enter the building there is a lobby with signage directing you to either the library, the museum or a great gift shop filled with neat items... more »

Good history of Rt 66, especially in Missouri. People are very friendly and helpful. Exploring Rt 66 for the first time, we have tried to stick to a mix of "formal" museums and the old places on the way. Having started at Cuba, Missouri and now in Miami, OK, it seems to be working OK. Suggest you get the newish Rt 66 Passport as you can get places to stamp the passport (even if they are not in the passport) and feebies are on offer!
