Thanksgiving Point Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm, garden, and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning. Using the natural world as a springboard for exploration, Thanksgiving Point combines place and process to shape today’s problem solvers into tomorrow’s makers and innovators. Thanksgiving Point is located at the center of Utah’s population growth equidistant between Provo and Salt Lake City metro areas.

  • Thanksgiving Point is an amazing family friendly place. Everything from special events to regular attendance. They have Ashton Gardens, a 50+ acre man made garden that is absolutely stunning. Each part of the garden has a specific theme, ex: Italian, herb, rose. In the Spring time, April to May, they have the tulip festival where tens of thousands of tulips are in bloom. And in December they have their Luminaria light extravaganza. They also have a very modest and yet encapsulating Dinosaur Museum, not the most grand on in Utah but it is solid. They do show some, I believe 3D, more educational films you can get tickets to as well. These are just two of the major attractions at Thanksgiving Point. They have several other permanent attractions and several seasonal ones. I recommend attending all of them!!! Getting a membership is worth every penny and is easily paid off in a couple of visits.
  • I LOVE THIS PLACE. I take my family here all the time. We have the membership too so we can get in to all the places for free. A lot of the time when we go, we go to every place they have. The farm, the natural history museum, the curiosity museum and the gardens. My personal favorite is the gardens. They are absolutely incredible. The staff is amazing. I really recommend You go here with your family because you will enjoy it.
