Parking requires a bit of a trek to the beach, so be careful how much you need to haul. There is a small hill to climb with deep sand. I ended up twisting my leg so much I had the worst case of shin..... more

Nice place. Parking is a bit crazy. If you have a larger vehicle you should be experienced in small areas. Best to walk a bit after parking down the road. Has a porta potty, it's clean. Close to ice cream place. Note: There are currently a LOT of alewives (small herrings) all along Lake Michigan beaches so if you have small children prepare for that.

What a wonderful beach area! Pets are allowed, which is always a plus for us! We came here to search for the Leland Blue Stones, and we did manage to find a few! Most of the beach here is very sandy, but the water is rocky, so if you plan on swimming here, be sure to wear some protective water shoes. The water here and the views here are stunning! We came on a beautiful blue sky sunny day! I could have spent hours here just enjoying the water and the view!
