  • I didn’t expect much because we were informed the lake wasn’t full yet and therefore was closed for water activities, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m a camping newbie though, so I’m not sure if to others, these qualities don’t seem as great as they do to me. The lake was almost full. We took a hike around it. The views were great. The campground was great too. There was a fire pit, outlets, table and benches on our reserved spot. We had bathrooms and showers very close by. I enjoyed my stay very much.
  • I'll be coming back to this place for sure. It's very peaceful, very clean and organized. You need to register with the host once you get there if you're planning on camping - which I highly recommend. Make sure you bring cash, $10 a night, but even if you don't, there's a convenience store 3 minutes away by a car with an ATM inside. The beach was closed, so you can't swim in the lake, but there are many other ways to enjoy it.
