  • A great short Modernist counterpoint to the Gilded Age cottage house tours that otherwise dominate the area. I went with elder parents and was glad of the nice golf cart option they offer to get up...

  • Go here. Trust me. If you have any interest in art, and maybe even if you don’t, you’ll be fascinated by this place. It’s beautiful, and their story is quirky and amazing.
  • I live across the street from Freylinghuysen and I will leave it to their website and other reviewers to comment on the collection. I'd just like to add that the grounds are spectacular. The entrance is less than a quarter mile from Tanglewood. Come early one day and walk these pristine woods, enjoy the eclectic collection of art, and take a long look at the sculpture of the subject with a tricorn hat. You'll find it on a side path north of the main entrance road. It's haunted.
