Tanglewood, Lenox

It is a magnificent venue to enjoy a wide range of artists perform in a gorgeous setting. We opted for a smaller event and we were delighted. It was just lovely to bring a picnic on the lawn and watch the the evening develop with stars above and the gentle sound of a piano recital. We will be back for more as it was our first visit. The support team with parking and guidance at the facilities was fantastic. Our performance was held at the OZAWA HALL and we could not have enjoyed a more perfect evening while the acoustics from the barn were just perfection.

I visited Tanglewood for Michael Tilson Thomas conducting Ives and Beethoven. I really enjoyed listening to the concert and watching them perform live Beethoven Symphony no. 9 in D minor. I didn't get a chance to explore Tanglewood, but the campus is so beautiful. I have got some pics of the Berkshires and High Manor. I'd definitely come back for future performances. Also, it is a good idea to arrive early to avoid traffic, and it is easier to find parking.
