Lost World Caverns, located just outside Lewisburg, West Virginia, is an underground natural series of caverns. This was so much fun! It takes about 45 minutes to tour the cavern. Many super formations, and good signage explaining what you're looking at. Employees are friendly and helpful, and the gift shop.... more

Self-guided tour was very easy to do and all formations were marked good with excellent information. For the price of admission this place is a must if in the area. Well worth the time to stop.

We had a great time exploring the cavern on the self guided tour. The staff was very polite and informative. The gift shop was neat, organized and stocked with a lot of unique trinkets. Everything was very reasonably priced. The cavern took us about an hour to walk through. (We took our time and read all of the information plaques along the route.) When the boys are older, we will definitely return to explore the rest of the cavern on the adventure tour.

What a lovely little day we had here; the weather was perfect outside and inside the cave of course. The cavern was lovely and fun to navigate with a little one. We took our time and made it through and had fun. We really enjoyed the gift shop and loved admiring the horses outside. The whole experience was memorable. We will be back!
