Lewisville Fishing Barge, Lewisville

It had been many yrs since I'd fished here and was in town for a family function, but still a good place to fish. Used to be able to bring your own lights to plug in but now it's not allowed (I didn't see any oulets either). You can fish inside or out, the grill was closed when I arrived at midnight, but the staff was friendly and it was clean. $10 a head I thought was a little steep but at least they still had minnows. I didn't catch anything that night so I enjoyed reminiscing with my brother & relaxed. I will go back again, it beats fishing off the bank.

Easy drive from North Dallas (25 minutes) to be on lake fishing barge. The water rocks the barge, the sun shines, and it is an inexpensive way to enjoy the outdoors.
