  • The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park was a quiet tucked way piece of history that’s squeezed between the cheeks of the North and Southbound rest areas of I-85 south of Thomasville, NC. It’s so unfortunate that so many of us perished for such an unnecessary war. We forget that they were pawns. While there I walked up on a similarly aged black lady who was “exercising” within the circle of the memorial. As I am, I said good morning. I received a cold stare and right after the dogs and I passed her she gave out a loud hawking spit onto the red brick walkway where we just were. I kept going but watched over my shoulder as she took her one gallon orange juice looking beverage with her out of the circle. I took the pictures you see here before we met once again on my way out. I did not expect her to be there but the very moment she saw me she spat once more. By the way, if you have to #2 that badly then run to the bathroom or further in the woods sense the bathrooms were under repair. Don’t leave it on sacred ground for everyone to walk by and whiff and for the employees to deal with. I know this because it was fresh off the press when we walked up on it and she was the only one around. That was disrespectful and disgusting, lady. I don’t know what this woman’s problem was but it wasn’t me, dear. Giving her the benefit of doubt I will say that it’s possible that she had sinus issues. I was taken by surprise about her behavior and yet I understood. I did nothing to her but say good morning. My spider senses tell me she was deliberate and was being racist herself. You don’t fight who you think is racist with racism. That will lead to wars. You get to know them first. The white race, I admit, has been cruel to not just the black community but to everyone else too because of certain fears and lies that have been injected into their minds. They are pawns too. But that is no excuse for racism to come from anyone. Remember the laundry mat incident? It is a mental illness but this mental illness is being driven by the forces of evil like the white man at the laundry mat who acted like a domestic terrorist. Evil cannot see the goodness of colors unlike the good who see the goodness of the colors in a rainbow. Evil will use colors to separate us like all the other tools it uses. We as the human species are better than this. We kill evilness with the forces of kindness because Peace is our only option.
  • An awesome tribute to those who have served their Country and provided us with our freedoms! I will always be in their debt!!!
