  • 26 years of trips to this beautiful slice of farmland turned into race course. I'm getting all fuzzy just thinking about it. Many years spectating, and now many racing on it, have not dulled the excitement of a planned weekend there!
  • I've been going to Mid-Ohio for 25 years - it's a great spot to catch some racing action at a reasonable price. Yeah, it's a little rough around the edges, it's in a rural location, you're using port-o-pots, the camping crowd can be rowdy for some events, there's usually some combination of excessive heat and thunderstorms, plan on walking a lot, you're not gonna find A/C, etc etc., BUT... it's a great value! Tickets are in the $50-$75 range for the major events, a camping spot is $50, you bring your own coolers stocked with whatever you need to get through the weekend, and it's genuinely a great time. Sometimes they even allow fans to walk the track after the day's activities have ended. I'm glad my dad opened our eyes to this place when we were kids, and I'm glad the track continues to attract top-tier racing series so I can continue to go!
