The permanent collection at Aviation Museum of Kentucky includes photos, documents, training equipment, and aircraft. Many items displayed and stored here were donated by members of the Aviation History Roundtable, a group of aviation enthusiasts founded in the 1970s. The facility includes a workshop for airplane restoration projects, a library, and a gift shop. As you explore the exhibit space, look for the replica of a 1908 Quadruplane, the first aircraft made and flown in Kentucky. I have a very nice and treasured memory from visiting this museum because I met a very nice and knowledgeable Gentleman named Rick who explained a great deal of aviation theories ranging from the engines, history, to fun facts about the experimental ones. Thank you so much, Sir, I learned a lot yesterday! This museum, together with his presence and witty descriptions, will serve the purpose as educative recreation to everyone visiting. Very nice experience I'm sincerely grateful for ♥️♥️♥️

Really awesome seeing some aircrafts up close. Lots of interesting things to read and videos playing. . $10 for adults and well worth it.
