  • We were able to meet some famous racing horses up close as well as see and learn about other horses at the park. Strongly recommend!! We will definitely be back during the non-winter hours.  more »

  • We totally enjoyed this experience of learning about horses and getting to see some of them up close. You could do as much or as little as you wanted. it's well organized and you are able to see some shows and also wander as fast or as slow as you choose. The staff have a great depth of knowledge and are willing to answer any questions. You can see much of this in two to three hours. But you could easily spend more time. The facilities are extremely well maintained and spotless.
  • I guess for the horse lover this place would be heaven but that's not me. It was very informational, maybe a bit too much. There is a lot to process here. Who knew there was so much to know about horses. Kinda fitting for Kentucky. Besides that the overall facility needs better access to water fountains. The day we were there it was blazing hot and the few water fountains that were around barely worked. It made it very uncomfortable. The kids loved the pony ride but to be honest it could have been a bit longer. They only got just a few minutes on them. The bigger horse riding was pretty average. Now having had a bit of previous experience riding horses the horse ride was very tame and definitely geared towards first timers. It was very structured and only allowed you to go at a walking pace. I will give it to the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. There wasn't a very good option for food so it's best to plan on bringing your own.
