Half theme park and half water park, Idlewild & SoakZone offers a mix of adventure areas, dry rides, and waterslides. Named “Best Children’s Park in the World” by Amusement Today, the park also stands as the oldest theme park in Pennsylvania. In Storybook Forest, young children can interact with characters from their favorite fairy tales. Take a ride on the classic Rollo Coaster for more of a thrill. Cool down in the wave pool, lazy river, or on one of the various waterslides. You can book strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs online in advance. Idlewild & SoakZone Reviews
Remembering how our grown children loved going here as kids, we took our 4 year old granddaughter for a day trip. It was a 3 hour drive so we made arrangements to stay overnight afterward in nearby La... more »

I’ve gone to Idlewild dozens of times in my life, since I started going as a kid. But after changing ownership many years back, it definitely isn’t the same. Has a lot of great perks such as the water park and other attractions but a lot of the original attractions such as, Storybook Forest and Jumping Jungle, are not well taken care of. I keep hoping they will put some more money into these unique and timeless attractions but they don’t. Anyways, overall, not bad, but not what it used to be.
The BEST amusement park for families with young children! There have never been long lines or long waits to get on a ride. We've been every year since my grandchild was 4 years old, she's now 8 and 3 generations of my family love this park! It has all your favorite rides to keep you busy all day, without being too big. I love all the old shade trees keep you shaded on a hot day. Plenty of benches at every ride for grandma to sit. Plenty of parking without a lot of walking. Also plenty of covered picnic pavilions for bring your own food to save money eating. The waterpark is the BEST! Has a wave pool, a lazy raft river and huge water activities park for the kids, plus a wee ones wading pool. My grandchild always wants to go through Storybook Village(non-rides). And I love that after the rides close you can wind down with a very entertaining song and dance show! This place had it all! It's the complete package! Very affordable and discount tickets available for AAA customers. I recommend it over any other park!!!
