  • Such a nice family park. Extremely relaxing day. There is so much to do. Only disappointment was so many rides closed. But I must say water park splash lagoon was a blast.

  • Definitely pack a lunch! Food very expensive! Best deal was the huge funnel cake for $10. Lots of pavilion room! Granddaughter loved the kiddie rides with almost no waiting!

  • Absolutely lovely! The park is incredibly well thought out: from arrival to departure. 1. The parking lot system is exceptional. It’s easy to park and get into the amusement park. They have multiple lots around the facility to minimize the walking for little legs. 2. Rides are older but well maintained: we road almost every ride in the park. They were all exceptionally well maintained and the staff was actively cleaning and maintaining the entire park as we played. 3. The conversion of Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood to Daniel Tiger was adorable and done well: they reused the sets perfectly. 4. Raccoon Lagoon is perfect for littles under 5! We were never bored. 5. The water park portion is absolutely lovely. A lazy river, slides, a wave pool, a toddler area, and a dragon ship for older kids is perfect. There should be more shade, though: for safety sake.
  • We stopped at Idlewild while touring the small amusement parks in NY and PA and just loved the nostalgia of the park. It felts like stepping back into the 50s or 60s where families would vacation at a place like this for a week or two. They have a nice selection of rides, but it’s not really a thrill seeker park. It’s wonderful to just slow it down and enjoy the flat rides and beautiful scenery. The have two coasters. Rollo Coaster is a well maintained woody from 1938. It’s a great family style coaster. They also have a wild mouse steel coaster that is pretty fun. We enjoyed our time there and will be back!
