Blackfoot Pathways:Sculpture in the Wild, Lincoln

Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild International Sculpture Park invites international and nationally recognized sculptors to the Blackfoot Valley to create significant site-specific works of art that respond to the rich cultural, environmental and industrial heritage of the Blackfoot Valley. The invited artists incorporate materials – natural and industrial – that are associated with the community’s economic and cultural traditions to create their site-specific artworks. Engagement and conversation between the artists and the community throughout the residency program is an important feature as it creates a sense of understanding, pride and ownership of the artwork within the community. The residency program provides hands-on community participation, an elementary and high school education program, artist’s presentations and community site visits. The sculpture park is open to the public throughout the year delivering a unique visitor experience that is multi-sensory and invites visitors to engage with art and nature in a relaxed atmosphere.
