Clark's Trading Post, Lincoln

4.5
#3 of 14 in Theme Parks in New Hampshire
Nestled in the mountains of New Hampshire, Clark's Trading Post give visitors the chance to ride along a classic railroad and explore a quirky collection of historically significant machinery and knick-knacks. From the main building, hop on a train pulled by a steam locomotive and ride the 2 km (1.25 mi) standard-gauge loop through the woods and across a vintage covered bridge. You might even see the park's most bizarre resident, known as the Wolfman. You'll find that the complex's famous trained bears are quite talented, and you can watch their skills on display during a show. Afterward, wander the park's other themed areas like the turtle house, or try your hand at riding a Segway scooter. • The most fantastic experience for all ages, at a low expense. It doesn't take the entire day to see and enjoy all Clark's has to offer. Family friendly, clean and comfortable. Every staff member you see around the area are smiling, genuinely, they work for a good family and see the smiles they put on millions of faces day in and day out. I hope this is something that lasts many generations to come, an absolute must see/experience for everyone. LOVE this place.
  • Cutest little amusement park I've ever seen. Very friendly staff, attractions for all ages. Love that they have a toddler version of the climbing wall for kids who don't meet the height requirements. They also have a little playground strategically placed for toddlers to enjoy themselves while their older siblings go on the big rides. Had a great time here, would definitely come back next time we're around!
