  • Nice picnic and cookout by the lake. Parking lot was blocked off close to our picnic sight, but it was worth the extra walking! We enjoyed watching families of geese march past us to go to the lake.....  more »
  • Onondaga Lake Park is a great place to relax and enjoy a walk with the family and pets. Then when you are done with your walk, it just a short, short distance to Heid's Restaurant for some fantastic....  more »

  • This lake's great. There is free parking, climbable trees, biking trails, grassy areas for picnic, playground for the kids, bike and surrey rentals. The area feels peaceful and calm. There are residential areas that line the bike trail that give the trail a homey vibe. There is a separate trail for walkers/roller bladers vs. bikers so it's safe for everyone. I do not recall if there is fishing or swimming at this lake. There is also a Salt Museum here.
  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! The playgrounds look exciting for kids (we happened to be without ours). A very useful and well maintained park. Large!! We rented a 2 seater bike and rode lots of the park! A very romantic, peaceful and blissful way to spend an afternoon!! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!
