  • My husband and I took a short day trip to Lockhart and were happy the museum was open, because much of the shops weren’t. There’s a lot of history in this building and a very helpful staff.  more »
  • The Caldwell County Jail Museum was constructed in 1908 and continued to house inmates until 1983. Walking through the old cell blocks, that it was in service into modern times, is a little amazing...  more »
  • Very real to life. Unpolished reality. Connie was very helpful. More history about Byrd Lockhart would have been nice.
