Cranberry Museum, Long Beach

This was a fun stop off while we were Geocaching. It was closed, but we still got to do the self guided tour with a map they provide, by the entrance. We were able to walk the cranberry fields. Read the informational signs. And enjoy the views. A nice little gem on the coast! We hope to return when they are open, to go in the Museum.

I really enjoyed this museum. It reminded me of my grandpa who would tell stories about growing up on a farm and I’d think he’d get a kick out of it. The lady at the register (runs it?) is super friendly and helpful and you can tell she takes pride in what she does. I really wish I would’ve gotten her name. The ice cream and truffles are delicious! The museum facts are interesting and the bogs are neat to see as well. The gift shop has plenty of unique items as well. Really enjoyed my time.
