  • We spent about 3 and 1/2 hours going through the aquarium. They have some interesting sea creatures that we have not seen at other aquariums. We even got to touch a jelly fish!!! We have touched a lot...  more »

  • I'm a big fan of this aquarium. The price for entry is reasonable. Lots of diverse ocean life. I really enjoyed the interactive exhibits like the jellyfish and the sharks in the skates in the rays. My favorite exhibit was the sea otters, they are really fun to watch and they are very playful. They also have a life-size replica of a blue whale and a baby blue whale right in the foyer area of the aquarium. I did not eat at the cafe that they have there but the prices are reasonable and the food selection is good as well. I highly suggest that if you're in the Long Beach area to check out the aquarium bring the family and enjoy the day.
  • Aquarium of Pacific is one of the most hidden treasure and gems in Southern California Long Beach. At this place which is completely family-oriented you experience a connection with the oceans which we hardly ever experience and we can see that if you don't take steps this beautiful part of our world which our life is connected to can completely be destroyed primarily by us if you don't take action. my most favorite part of this aquarium is there tropical fish section I can literally spend three hours just watching the aquarium and relaxing meditation. you can bring your own food to the place and you can enjoy an outdoor seating and you can be with your family touch the coral sharks and other animals at some ponds. This is a must see if you love oceans in southern California
  • Ended up baby sitting my niece and nephew and decided to take them to the Aquarium of the Pacific. They've been here many times but this time I wanted to do something a little bit different. So we booked the behind the scenes tour and it was great! Our host/tour guide Amy was delightful and answered all of our questions. Most of the tour goers we're adults, but Any was great in accommodating a 7 and 9 year old. If you're considering doing the behind the scenes tour just make sure all participants are 7 years or older :).
  • Best place to take kids for hands on marine life experiences. Big exhibits and quite a few touch tanks make this memorable. There is a water playground for tots also. It does get crowded so be aware. Plus there are always lots of kids from school field trips. My nephew loved the jellyfish. There are also frog exhibits and you can feed the birds for $4 currently.
  • Feed the birds! You won’t regret it. It was the coolest thing and my daughter won’t forget it anytime soon. It was very easy to navigate and the kids enjoyed the half day we spent so much. If you’re in Long Beach definitely check it out. Less than $20 to get in and you’ll spend at least 3 hours.
