Gantry Plaza State Park is a 12-acre (4.9 ha) state park on the East River in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, in the New York City borough of Queens. The park is located in a former dockyard and manufacturing district, and includes remnants of facilities from the area's past. The most prominent feature of the park is a collection of gantries with car float transfer bridges, which in turn were served by barges that carried freight railcars between Queens and Manhattan.

  • I like it here for a stay of two weeks. The apartment was clean and had everything I need. Service was excellent.

  • The Beekman is the best place to stay in Turtle Bay when you seek comfort, convenience and safety in a great neighbourhood. The staff are welcoming, caring and competent and the facilities...

  • It's really lovely to visit, especially in springtime. They added more public rest rooms finally. And a nice assortment of food trucks on site as well. The view is marvelous! But be prepared to pay garage parking, as the street is very difficult.
  • It's very peaceful here. The field has synthetic grass, it's amazing how much love is around when you hear people playing games out there. There's a valley ball next with sand opposed to grass on the opposite side of the restaurant which is where the fairies bored and unload.. The food there is really good. It's on the expensive side but at least it tastes good.
