The "Friends of Ashley Pond Park" are a loose affiliation of people who take great pride in this treasure of Los Alamos New Mexico. Downtown Los Alamos is located where it is because of this wonderful geographic feature. It is our signature downtown park. We wish to maintain and protect this joyous green grass and water jewel. NO MORE BUILDINGS ON ASHLEY POND PARK.

  • So it's been here a long time probably didn't look as park like and fancy as now but fascinating to think of all the people that have wandered around it over the years ... contemplating.

  • Such a beautiful pond!! Great place to come eat lunch. Has plenty of space w tables or bring a blanket n sit on the beautiful grass. Highly recommend!!
  • Loved this little park with a pond in Los Alamos. The real jewel are the Jemez Mountains that is the backdrop of this beautiful little town. The drive to this town is worth it and it's only a 25min drive if you're coming from Santa Fe.
