Wow -we spent three hours here. We took the guided tour, and then spent some time on our own. Covers prehistory to contemporary times and covers the Manhattan Project in great detail. Fascinating. I thought I knew a lot about this and I was stunned at how much I learned here.

Came here hoping to visit the National Park visitors center, but it was closed midweek. But just down the street was this cool, small history museum with helpful staff and free for kids ($5 for adults). Spent about 15 minutes here but it was a decent stop. Don't miss the science center down the street.
