Even though we didn't get to go inside the temple itself, the visitor's center was full of interactive learning and stories to be heard. Our girl's loved spending time here and exploring the temple... more »
So many things to learn about and such a good place to feel love and peace. Always free parking and has the best of views. Great for walks and nice people to talk to. Such a beautiful building with great greenery. With the visitors center in the back that is open until 9pm each day. At that center it has events each Sunday at 7pm to learn and grow.
For the Church Of Jesus Christ (at times incorrectly called Mormons) the temple represents a sanctuary from the world. That is especially true for this island of peace in theat of the entertainment section of Los Angeles. While it is true that only worthy members can enter the temple, all are welcome to enjoy the peace and beauty of the grounds. Los Angeles is also fortunate enough to have a visitors center, in which you can learn about the temple, its construction and the people and religion who hold it so important.
