  • This was a fantastic hike - especially in the clear, cool weather we had today - at the top of the trail and Eagle Rock, we could see all the way out to Catalina Island and the Palos Verdes...

  • Only trail I know in Los Angeles that at the top gives simultaneous ocean/downtown views. Some parts of trail offer shade. Hiking shoes highly recommended. Easy to medium difficulty. Takes about 1.5 hours. No dogs allowed on higher trails. Bathrooms & water fountain access at the base -good tasting water I might add. In the late summer you may encounter snakes! Parking is $10 on the lot, but I always find free parking on Sunset Blvd.
  • Truly wonderful State Park, great hiking trails with breathtaking views and beautiful nature. The beach, also city of LA views are dreamy, great for a hiking or camping day. Malibu wonderful beaches are just a few minutes drive away so it’s a great location.
