  • This was a great campsite. Clean pool with lifeguards, updated playground, friendly staff everywhere. Showers and bathrooms were clean with hot water. No complaints, beautiful scenery. Love how tall all the trees are up here. Trails had just been opened due to a storm. We did campsite B and it was awesome. Scenic, private, quiet, and right on the river. Would totally do this again.
  • Mohican St Park is well known and respected state wide for good reason. It is a wonderful place. However, the amenities for the young are inadequate. We visited the wet, spring weekend of may 7-8 and the playground, near the not yet open pool, was already over burdened. It should be 4X the size that it is. One slide, 3 items to climb on and 4 swings. Little else. There is insufficient parking, clearly an effort to keep non campers from using it as a resource, but the result is a park where you can and hope to get away with it mentality. If small kids fun is your primary camping intention, I respectfully suggest you look elsewhere. There are far better options in Ohio.
