Frazier History Museum is where the world meets Kentucky. It is a home for everything that people in Kentucky are most proud of, bringing history to life for visitors through exhibits, artifacts, and live performances every day. The museum presents live performances by talented costumed actors, bringing visitors face to face with some of the people and events that changed the world. In the fall of 2018, in partnership with the Kentucky Distillers' Association, the museum will open the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center & Spirit of Kentucky Exhibit. You can spend hours in here, depending on your interests. Three very different floors of exhibits. Top floor is bourbon. There's a huge computer table where you can personalize your search of all things KY distilleries. Second floor is the miniatures. First floor holds a variety of historical KY exhibits plus the gift shop. We'll laid out. Elevators, water, restrooms, and stairs on every floor. Entry discount for military, seniors, and children.

I worked here as an intern, as well as co-hosted an event, and had a wonderful experience both times. Frazier is actively rotating their galleries so every visit feels fresh. Plus, they are taking positive steps to diversify the historical voices present in their displays. If you’re in the Louisville Area and on Museum Row, I’d highly recommend!
