The Waverly Hills Sanatorium is a former sanatorium located in southwestern Louisville/Jefferson County, Kentucky.

It opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 tuberculosis patients. In the early 1900s, Jefferson County was ravaged by an outbreak of tuberculosis – known as the "White Plague" – which prompted the construction of a new hospital. The hospital closed in 1961, due to the antibiotic drug streptomycin that lowered the need for such a hospital. Plans have been developed to convert the sanatorium into a hotel and conference center.

  • Awesome tour! Awesome guide! Awesome experience! Will return for all other options. Only have done the 2 hour paranormal tour so far but everyone and everything is great! No complaints. Nothing to recommend. Just keep on keeping on Waverly staff and residents!!!
  • Awesome overnight investigation. This place is so creepy and has a very amazing vibe to it. It is well worth the overnight tour if you have time. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It was one of the creepiest places I have ever been to. We experienced so much paranormal creepiness. If you are a non believer or a believer this place will change your view regardless. Great job!
