The West Texas Walk of Fame is part of Civic Lubbock Inc. It was established to honor those individuals who have an affiliation to Lubbock and the West Texas area and have devoted much of their lives to the development of and/or gained recognition in the promotion or production of the arts, music and entertainment. Musicians such as Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Tommy Hancock and Charlene Condray Hancock are honored.

The museum was interesting but thought there would be more to discover. I guess I already knew more about Buddy than they did. They didn't allow picture taking, which is stupid! His statue is across..... more

Really nice statue and saw Buddy Holly's home there as well. Got there at night but still got a nice photo.

We walked around and it was a nice time. A quite little park that was nice to walk around.
