If you've got time to spare check out this interesting old jail. Leave a donation too. There are old jail cells you can walk into. Stairs no elevator if you want to go to the 2nd floor.

Do not miss this quick visit of the museum, women jail and men's jail, it doesn't take long, it is friendly, it is free, just a simple donation. Worth every penny.

Really cool piece of lynchburg history. I didn’t catch the man’s name in the building but very nice and informative. It runs off donations so they just ask for a $1 but give what you can. Definitely recommend added it to your agenda if you’re visiting the town!!
