  • Majority of the island is state park. Lots of fun to explore on foot or on bike. You can also get horse drawn carriage tours.

  • The park includes so many different attractions, so it should not be even shown as the single attraction. Because I've already review few things being in this Park, I will focus on British Landing...

  • This Park is one of the most beautiful parks in all of Michigan. My family and I visited this park when we stayed on the island a few nights and it was not only fun but also very relaxing. One of my favorite parts of the park is how the swing sets look out onto the lake and onto Mackinac Bridge. I would definitely recommend visiting here.
  • We come here every August to see our granddaughter perform with the Girl Scout Color Guard. The history is all around the island and the views of the lake and Mackinaw Bridge are awesome. We have stayed in several B & B s and the Inns. We have never had a disappointment with our lodging. Take a private carriage tour, it's the best. The restaurants are many and the food is remarkable.
