  • Amazing experience all around. A real hidden gem! It’s a little drive from the entrance but guided the entire way by little post signs that tell you about the stars and such.

  • Visited the site in early Spring so had to bundle up. Even so, liked the idea of getting a private showing of the stars and the lake. Loved the tiered amphitheater seating that is wide enough that you can lay back and get the panoramic view of the stars. Spent summers in MC growing up and you used to be able to see similar views from the shore by the fort, but too many lights there now. This is a dark sky and if you haven't experienced I highly recommend. Family friendly too
  • If this is your first ever visit to a dark sky park, then your experience will not be anything less than surreal. The sheer beauty and grandeur of stars filling up your entire horizon and shining over the beautiful Michigan lake will make you hold your breath. It was an experience of a lifetime, and now I always wish to stop by this place if I can. Highly recommended.
