  • Great place for a walk. Shady, cement paths, many things to do. Many people walk dogs. Safe atmosphere.  more »
  • Attended a wedding here. It was a nice place or the wedding. Even w/people in the water, it was a peaceful place.  more »
  • We love Amerson! The park is clean, the trails are paved and shaded well, a nice stroll for any age. There's picnic tables with grills and I love that the playground has the recycled tires (I think it is) for the flooring. One of the best playgrounds we've visited. There's multiple places to take pictures with a beautiful backdrop of the river or pretty greenery. I'd recommend it to any who hasn't been here yet. A hidden gem in Macon, GA. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
  • This is a great park for family outings. The bike trail is amazing and perfect for the hot days with plenty of shaded trail. Multiple gazebos for family picnics and the tubing feature is awesome. Great for a nice slow float with a rope swing in the middle for having fun. Been multiple times and will keep coming back.
