Kalmbach Park, Macungie

#273 of 419 in Parks in Pennsylvania
Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Established by the late industrialist, Frederick Kalmbach Sr., founder of Electric Furnace Man, in Emmaus, PA.

Mr. Kalmbach's love of nature, and his fondness for the Macungie community motivated him to direct that his home and surrounding property be developed as a "public park for the physical, cultural and educational advancement of the people of the community."

Through his living trust, Kalmbach Memorial Park strives to provide a variety of excellent programs, workshops, lectures and events geared to all ages and interests of the Macungie community and those residing within the East Penn School District.

A nature trail and walking path meanders through field and wooded areas of the estate.
Kalmbach Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , international travel planner Edition.

  • Great little park! It's like visiting a friend's garden. Very tranquil and peaceful. Perfect place to stroll, take on the fragrances around you, take some pictures, take a snack with you and enjoy it at one of the tables there. Also very nice place to sit down and read for a while. Love it! A perfectly delightful way to add some walking into your day.
  • A beautiful place to visit & connect with nature. Nice walking trails include both deciduous & coniferous forest areas, a diversity of plant life, bird observatory screen, gazebo, and gardens with labeled plants - vegetables, herbs, flowers (perennials, biennials & annuals); incl butterfly & hummingbird garden. And a lovely stream! Wonderful!!
