Pier / Boardwalk · Landmark
An early 20th-century fishing village-turned-tourist-attraction, John's Pass Village & Boardwalk connects the Gulf of Mexico with the Intracoastal Waterway, Tampa Bay, and Boca Ciega Bay. The town still supports a fishing industry. Fresh catches from the fishing fleet are served at many restaurants in the area. You'll see Jet Skis and parasails gliding across the surface of the water near a reconstructed pirate ship that rests in the harbor. Consider signing up for a dolphin-sighting tour to enjoy the antics of the attraction's most charming occupants. • Fun place to go. There are lots of things to do and see here! Take a dolphin watching boat tour or be daring and try the Pirate Ship cruise! You can shop the many shops here, although some tend to be a bit pricey because after all, it's a tourist area. There's even a great spot to play old school arcade games and even a place to feed alligators and crocodiles! Awesome tourist attraction!
  • Great shops, restaurants and attractions! There's so much to do on John's Pass you can easily spend the entire day here. We grabbed souvenirs, lunch and candy while checking out events/attractions. Loved that it wasn't too far from our condo in Indian Rocks Beach and it wasn't overly packed like Pier 60.
