  • Owens is a nearly 100 acre park with well marked trails. You will see lots of birds, usually the resident turkeys, and sometimes the deer. The trails are not difficult and have lengths indicated...  more »
  • This park is wild forest, there are two small ponds and a creek that runs during the summer provided there is enough rain. There are mosquitoes when it's warm, but not as many as I expected given the available water bodies. The creek is nice and there is a trail along it. There are several trails about 6 feet wide and you can forget you are in a city, actually you can't see much of a city from there and you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside.
  • A very nice place to come on a nice cool warm day to take your friend's, significant other Or Relatives on a really nice hike. Just make sure to bring bug spray and sunscreen. I personally Have hiked many times alone here and have never had a problem. It's very peaceful!
