  • Ski lessons with Cullen made our day. He really helped us overcome our fears and get control of our skis. This is a great place to learn to ski as the beginner slope was just steep enough.  more »
  • This is one of my favorite places to ski in NC. It is an easy drive from Asheville. The staff there are very nice and helpful. They have a good variety of slopes and difficulty level slopes. It...  more »

  • Great place to take a beginner. They also have more challenging runs for the more advanced skier too. I've taken my son here twice now and we've enjoyed it. Only negative thing is the food on the mountain isn't that great so you may consider packing a lunch. I'd recommend this ski resort to anyone.
  • If you live in East TN like me this is one of the few places you can go too. I went for the first time back in march. It was a warm day so there was stuff not open but I am a beginner so it didn't bother me. The staff was friendly and the mountain and lodge was clean. I have my own board but the guy I went with rented and he seemed to be pleased with the gear he rented. For me this is nice because it's close to home and better then the resort that's located in my area. Overall the price for the mountain isn't bad and for me it's definatly worth going to. Well definitely be going back.
