Unique park with creative gardens and statuary, some dating back to the 1920s. Aviary, playground, walking trails. Some visitors buy annual passes and visit frequently throughout the season.

Absolutely beautiful ! Went yesterday for the first time, it was a little chilly but well worth being cold. Can't wait until everything is in bloom, I'm sure it will be spectacular ! Very modest...

Beautiful park had a cookout there on Memorial day.. I wish they had better park benches, the two we had was lopsided. Other than that the scenery is beautiful the park is well maintained. Great place if you want to work out. The trails are all marked so it makes it very easy to get back and you won't get lost. They also have a little child Zoo with different types of species of birds. They also have different types of gardens, beautiful setting for weddings.

This is my favorite botanical park in Central Connecticut and it's 30 mins away. It's also safe place to be with Park rangers circling the park every 30 minutes to 1 hour. It's been a favorite mines for 20 years. When I need to escape for a few hours during the warmer months to relax, this is my sanctuary.
