  • Great African beaded art earlier in the year and excellent galleries. Make sure to make reservations early if you are interested in the Zimmerman house guided tours. They are very popular and sell out...  more »
  • A very nice museum that is worth a detour! The exhibitions are housed in a very beautiful building and are very worth seeing. You get to know a lot of new things from American artists. The museum also offers special exhibitions. We saw an exhibition of African artists making pictures of glass beads. A very impressive experience. Also worth booking is a tour to Zimmerman House, a house built and furnished by Frank Lloyd Wright. The volunteer guides are very professional and have a very great knowledge, which they are happy to pass on. Only a limited number of visitors are allowed, so it is essential to book in advance via the Internet. Attention for foreign visitors: The internet link does not work with foreign credit cards and the tour is declared as fully booked. If this arrives, please contact the museum by e-mail. There may still be places available. The staff is very helpful and in this case they are happy to reserve places, which can then be paid for on site by credit card. You will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. For us, the museum was a wonderful experience. You can also eat small things in the museum café in a beautiful courtyard.

  • Great place to spend the day. Small children's Area, my 13,10 and 4yr olds enjoyed it enough to visit it twice during our visit. Cool gift shop with some really unique items.
  • Recently went for a Family Night. There were stations set up for arts and crafts. Puppet performance and short films available for the kids. The Currier is a great museum with lots to offer. We enjoyed our time there and became members which allows us to private events and reciprocal admittance to a lot of other museums around the nation.
