  • Very interesting place and friendly informative staff
  • What a great little museum! Lots of interesting exhibits about early life in Manhattan and the people who made it real. I wish a few were better marked, but the variety of information - farming, hospital, daily-life, etc. It really can't be beat. One of my favorites was the hair-wreath and the explanation of why it came to be. Pioneers had a very different viewpoint of death and the care they took to preserve the memory of their loved ones is impressive.
