We enjoyed this area very much and wished we had more time in the area. The bridge and Flaming Gorge dam especially at sunset was delightful.

We visited the Wyoming end of Flaming Gorge out of Green River. The other end in Utah must be more spectacular because nothing was very dramatic or gorgy about our end of the park. We went down as far as the ferry and found a dirt road where we could see some water up close. We did see some antelope close up though! My advice is to start in Utah!

This place is just amazing. Great for boating, rafting, fishing and hiking. Expect cold water in the river even in the middle of the summer.
