  • One of our families favorite state parks. 3 kids twin 14 y/o boys and 11 y/o daughter. Good fishing lake with decent action. Water is fairly clean just dark. Swimmers should be aware it's always had.....  more

  • Beautiful park, nice sized sites, some with lake views. The trails through the park are both paved and dirt. The paved route offers breaks in the trail for water gazing or picnicking. There's bathouses in each section of the campground, the one we frequented had 3 stalls and one shower each for the men's and women's. There are kayaks to rent with a decent launch pad. Our site, 84, was on the lake, the views were breathtaking. The park also offers at least 2 pavilions for parties. They both have seating, picnic tables, and bathrooms, lots of outside grills. There were quite a few playgrounds for the little ones. Overall this was an awesome place for us to spend a week..highly recommended.
  • Great views and great staff
