A very nice, wide, sandy beach. Picnic tables are a plus. Don't get there too late in the morning as parking fills up quickly.

This state park is the best place to camp!! Sites are spacious, private, and just a short walk to the beach. Water and electric hookups worked great. There is a dump station, clean restrooms with showers, and a dish washing station. The day use area has kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. Beaches are clean, quiet, and peaceful. Rangers/staff are very kind and helpful. They have group programs to get people passionate about the nature and to get some exercise or try a new activity. I love this park!

State Park was really nice with beautiful views and lots of wildlife! I stood for a few minutes and waited for the bird to go after the crab, didn't happen while I was there. Before the beach I'd a picnic area and a small play area for the kids.
