We stopped in the midst of a long road trip. We felt we didn't have time to view the museum, but stopped in to the gift shop. The people working were friendly, welcoming and understanding. They answered all our questions and took the time to tell us about sights in the town and a little Walt Disney history. We bought post cards and took them to the local post office, where a special cancellation is available. The man working in the post office was also very friendly and chatty. I would love to come again when I have more time to explore!

Walt Disney created a mouse that brought the house down...not bad for a poor boy living in Missouri. Go there. Be as carefree as any kid , anywhere. Know the power of the humble beginnings of an unstoppable, industrious and determined young boy who saw his future- out there, beyond the evening stars. The unequivocally ingenious animator, turned studio owner...and how dies he say it: it was all due to a mouse.
