Beach · Nature / Park
With 79 acres (32 ha) of unoccupied white sandy beaches, Tigertail Beach sits alongside a tidal lagoon. The beach hosts water sports galore, and you can rent paddleboards and kayaks by the hour. Considered one of the best all-around bird watching spots in southwest Florida, the beach is a critical habitat for migrating and indigenous birds, including herons, pelicans, and egrets. Deck chairs and tiger-striped cabanas are available to rent for the day. Families will appreciate the playground and cafe on site. • Great for shelling but a very long walk to the beach from parking lot
  • In order to get to the actual beach you need to walk mile and a half from the parking. Once you get there is really nice but then you start thinking about all that walk to go back home.
