  • I can’t seem to go back in time on the date I remember coming here on a school trip when I was younger. It’s a good place to learn about local history and the area.  more »
  • Most of the museum is self-guided, but the tour of Putnam's house is well worth waiting for. Good, informative tour guide. So much history represented here! A must-see.  more »
  • Great collection. Enjoyed it very much. Putnam house tour is definitely worth the time. They also have a deal where you can save on entrance fees if you're also going to the Ohio River Museum.
  • Perfect pioneer history. For kids the interactive benches and coal miner dress up engages. Probably the best feature is the Putnam house on its original site encased within the museum!
