  • It's a quaint local square. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops. It's fun in the evening to grab an ice cream and sit in the park. Gallery nights, when the galleries and some shops extend their hours is a great evening out. Saturday farmer's market is excellent and some Saturdays you'll find artists booths. Lots of other events including live music. We're super grateful to have this in our new home town.
  • Adorable. Many restaurants and shops. Lovely square with grass, benches, fountain, and small play area for kids. There are two kids stores, a toy store and a clothing store. Events are very popular so unless you are going for the event don't try to go on that day as it will be very crowded. We LOVE the weekend farmers market. And if you are vegan you can eat at Taco Tsunami and Updogs.
  • The Marietta Diner appears to be a well run restaurant with a diverse menu upon first glance. However, after receiving my food and dining on a busy Sunday, my opinion changed quickly. I ordered an omelette with bacon and cheddar cheese, grits, and a biscuit. My brunch mate had a Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs. My omelette arrived cold with ham squares so small only a mouse would have been satisfied with it. In addition, it appears this is a better restaurant on days when they are not crowded. Furthermore, during my visit m, I noticed silverware on the in the dining area and I only received 1 napkin from my server leaving me to question my choice of restaurant again. My suggestion to this place is to thin the menu and pull up that grossly dirty carpet in the dining area. I truly believe if carpet is not clean in food areas it should be removed.
  • LOTS and lots of stuff to do. There is great food, cool arts, neat stores, good coffee and treats. Very cool artistic venues. There is also lots of events on the square (Glover Park) itself. Lots of weekends are full of live music, sidewalk art events, local farmer's market, local artist, and a beautiful place to just hang out or take pictures. They've done what they can to make parking easier (free for a lot of events), just don't waste time looking for the perfect spot.
  • Beautiful town, I am proud of Marietta for fighting to keep this very nice square. They have a nice farmer's market every Saturday morning. My only regret is that there should be a nicer place for drinks and to relax, around the Square.
