  • Where the Bay meets the Ocean, you will find this huge parkland, nicely preserved open space that is cherished by us all. Good place for a hike, or just admire it as you drive across the Bridge.

  • Rent your bike at Blazing Saddles (or any of many others), ride across the Golden Gate Bridge, down to Sausalito, get your hamburger at Bridgeway (almost literally, a hole in the wall) and chow down at the ferry landing awaiting your boat. Then ride the ferry back to San Francisco while enjoying a white wine (or whatever you prefer); if the bartender is Melinda, give her my regards (and a good tip!), she is my neighbor! I'm very happy to share the best of the Bay Area to healthy & fit folk! I have top quality bicycles (for short people!) that you can borrow for free. I don't want your money, I just love life and am very happy to share my zest and good fortune with anyone interested. Send me a paper letter (required to weed out the casual); you can mail me at 1817 Clinton Avenue in Alameda.
  • Great place to get away from it all only a short drive from the city. Amazing ocean and bay views. It is worth a visit for sure.
