  • What a remarkable collection! I never dreamed I would find such a treasure in such a remote location.

  • If you're into fluorite and calcite specimens, then this is the place for you! The staff members are always welcoming and are quite knowledgeable of the different types of crystals and minerals they have out on display. Absolutely love their little gift shop! Only wish it was a little shorter of a drive for me. So I could go shopping a little more often. 😁
  • Great museum showcasing lots of spectacular Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois fluorspar (fluorite) specimens. Museum also has a really nice fluorescent collection including lots of Franklin/Sterling NJ minerals and some nice pieces of old local mining equipment. And to top it off the people are great too!!
